PONY PAINTINGS
Chincoteague Minnow learned to paint in January of 2007. These painting are collaborative pieces (created from a special bond that I share with Minnow) in which I choose the colors and the brushes, and Minnow paints on the canvas by holding brushes in his mouth.
Minnow has a wonderful talent for painting, and he can hardly contain his excitement when he sees me bring out his easle and brushes. Minnow wants to share his artistic talents with each and every one of you.
Chesapeake Lightning (Blitz) and Chesapeake Boomerang (Boomer) are in training to be the next pony painters. Check back soon to see their progress.
Each painting is an original work of art created by the ponies. All paintings come stamped with a signature by Minnow or Blitz as well as a brochure telling how it was created! Check back frequently as more paintings are always being created.
A portion of sales is DONATED to the Chincoteague Pony Association to help feed and care for the wild ponies of Assateague Island.
